I am a queer and gender queer Autistic person with ADHD and have been working in the Third Sector since 2005, specialising in improving wellbeing, challenging stigma, and the importance of identity-led working.
Most recently, I was CEO of one of the longest-standing LGBTQ+ Charities in the UK, and I am currently CEO of the only Charity run by and for autistic women and non-binary people in Scotland.
Taking a neuro-affirming approach to my work, I offer clients a safe, validating space to explore and understand their identities, free from judgement or the stress of masking to fit in. Being seen, heard, and understood as a neurominority is fundamental to our wellbeing and our ability to navigate life. I love meeting other autistic people and offering them the opportunity to be their true selves.
