Charlotte is an experienced practitioner with over 16 years of specialist practice working with autistic adults. Drawing on a deep knowledge of autism and neurodivergence, she brings a nuanced understanding of the diverse ways autistic and neurodivergent people experience the world. Charlotte also has specialist experience supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health difficulties and eating disorders, recognising the complex and often interconnected ways these present within neurodivergent populations.
She works across diagnostic assessment, post-diagnostic support, group facilitation, and independent consultancy, delivering training and workshops for professionals and services across the sector. Charlotte has a longstanding involvement in therapeutic communities, where she has contributed to the development of reflective, relationally-focused environments that place lived experience, shared values, and community at the heart of care. Central to her approach is a commitment to building meaningful, trust-based relationships, informed by her training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and a deep appreciation of the unconscious, relational, and emotional dimensions of human experience.
Charlotte integrates creative, art-based, and nature-based approaches into her practice, recognising the profound potential of creativity and the natural world as spaces for expression, reflection, and healing. She is actively involved in projects promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across social care, mental health, and the creative sectors.
